Day 5: Movie Time: Movie Review
In extension to the event, students filled in a Movie Review Report on the 5th day of the Book Week in their English Period. Students communicated their views; favours as well as critique regarding the movie. Students also shared the differences they noticed between the novel and the movie.
The benefits of reading from a young age are well known and range from improved cognitive skills to high level of performance at school. We, at The City School believe that a love of reading is a stepping stone to becoming an enthusiastic learner and a confident reader, writer and speaker. With confidence and enthusiasm, children can enjoy a wonderful world of learning and exploration. Thus, we are positive that a week celebration must have boosted children’s love for reading.
On 16th November 2018, the book week ended by handing over the certificates to all the students for their enthusiastic participation.
