Play ‘MIRROR MIRROR’
The
idea of organizing the Play “Mirror Mirror” was conceived by mutual agreement
of Staff of Prep Girls Section back in November 2017. The play was held on
Friday, 9th March
2018 after the industrious efforts of the management and teachers. The event
was graced by the actor Nouman Masood and the rising star Ms. Amna
Kifayat. All students of Class 7 were chosen for the Choir as they had
performed in the play last year in March 2017 whereas, Class 6 and Class 8 led
the Stage Play. Each student was given an opportunity to be the part of the
play, however, 341 out of 396 students participated. The costumes were closely
replicated from the ones showcased in the Movie ‘Mirror Mirror’ released in
2011. The students’ performance was outstanding whereas,
costumes, lightening, SMDs added colours to the show. The
parents and guests were flabbergasted to see the performance of our talented
girls. The play also developed the sense of responsibility, confidence,
harmony, and discipline in the students. The live broadcast on Darakhshan
Campus Facebook page made
the audience witness the show at their homes which was highly appreciated.
Parents were given souvenirs and a booklet summarizing the stage performance.
