IQBAL DAY CELEBRATION
Iqbal day is organized and celebrated
on 9 November every year in all the provinces as a tribute to Allama Muhammad Iqbal,
the "Poet of the East". We, at Prep Girls Section, organized a
special Assembly to pay tribute to Allama Iqbal on November, 07th,2019.
Ms. Zeba Suboohi , as a coordinator of the event prepared the broadcasters with the script
enriched with Iqbal’s famous verses. Class 6 students presented a poetry
Tableau, “Lab pe aati hai dua ” where as, Class 9 students prepared a skit on
decline of British’s rule in the sub-continent and rise of the demand of a
separate Muslim State. Khuzaimah of Class 9T represented himself as Allama
Iqbal as gave the address of Allahabad Movement led by Iqbal. Girls of Class 8 performed a tableau on “Parinde
ki Faryad” and Anshira Ujjan recited Iqbal’s poetry with true spirit and great confidence. The poem "Pahar and Gullehri" was also one of the great performance by Class 7 girls. The assembly ended by giving out gifts to the students and teachers who recited
Allama Iqbal’s poetry.
