Dear Parents / Guardians,

At TCS we aim to enhance our students’ learning abilities through not only curricular programs but also through co curricular activities. Our major focus is on developing the English language skills and fluency therein of our students which assists them in all areas of studies.

We are launching a literary program to this effect; details are as follows:

• ·         Inter Class Declamation Contest for students of Class 6

This is an equal opportunity program and you are requested to motivate your child to participate. The event will strive to bring out the best in terms of selection of oratory skills of students.

The competition will be held in each class on Monday 9^th March 2015. Your child may prepare on one of the topics given below. The duration of the speech should be 2 minutes.

• ·         Violent video games should be banned
• ·         Television is a bad influence
• ·         Influence of western culture due to media
• ·         Kindness: The language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see
• ·         My Teacher, My Hero
• ·         Measures to keep our surroundings clean
