With the view to promote the skill of effective public speaking as part of leadership and oratory training, Prep Girls Section organized English Declamation Contest for the students of Class 8 on Tuesday, 17th October 2017. To instill the importance of values in our lives the contestants delivered speeches on 12 values which were as follow: Honesty, Humility, Humanity, Tolerance, Responsibility, Patience, Cooperation, Respect, Gender Discrimination, Love, and Care.
Invitations were given to Ms. Naila Durrani, the Network Head, Ms. Bushra Nadeem, the Principal, Ms. Azra Shaheryar, the Vice Principal, Ms. Nusrah Asad, the Network Academic Coordinator and the judges form Senior Boys and Senior Girls Section. The parents of participants were also invited to witness the performance.
The program began with the recitation of the verses from the Holy Quran followed by the national anthem and school song. The choir then mesmerized the guest by beautifully sung Hamd. The welcome speech was given by Alishbah, the Head Girl.
Amazing speeches were declaimed by the 12 young orators. The contestants showcased confidence, expression, and fluency in the speech.

In the end, the principal awarded the competitors with shields and certificates that was seen as great confidence and morale-boosting measure for all the participants. Shields were also given to the winners of Urdu and English Story Writing competition held in September.
