Annual Musical Play
2017
Dramatic art in education plays a
lively part in developing interpersonal skills, language competence, and
intellectual maturity. The evolution of performance skills also enhances
confidence, time management and computer storage. The students of Junior B
Section, Darakhshan Campus had an opportunity to get all these skills in the
Annual Play 2017, Beauty and the Beast on March 22, 2017. The event was graced
by Mr. Xu Zhijie Cultural
Consul Chinese Consulate General, Ms. Zeba Shoaib Manager Academics, Mr. Simon
Glasson Principal PAF Chapter, Ms. Nafisa Zanzibarwala Network Head PECHS, Ms.
Azarmeen Moini Chawla Regional Coordinator Co-curricular, Ms. Naila Durrani Network
Head, Ms. Fozia Amir a well known model. The stage and arena were set with
vibrant characters from Beauty and the Beast by the art instructors, the SMD
screen for backdrop was on one hand environment friendly and on the other
provided plethora of colors and variety to distinguish each scene from the
other.
The play was a six scene musical
drama. The play involved a total of 204 performers. The parents provided a full
house and were captivated by the performance of the students. Beauty and the Beast is simply one of the best Disney
movies of all time. Almost all of the songs are memorable, the characters are
iconic and there are several moments in the film, both happy and sad, that will
bring tears to your eyes.

her appreciation and vote of thanks to all those who made this mega event a
reality. The acting of the characters was definitely par
excellence. The event offered a big chance for the audience to witness the
mundane and the ordinary converting into the extraordinary “Beauty and the
Beast”.
