The students were able to have a
better understanding of who the people of these early ancient civilizations
were through project-based learning, which focused on four basic
characteristics, writing, religion, art and architecture, this was done in
detail through lap books, pottery designing, hieroglyphics and model making.
This learning journey was very
interesting and research-based the students became aware of the diverse
societies of the ancient world and how the evolution and development of
geography, environment and belief systems took place. The students also used
technology to aid their research and presented their ideas in a creative and
impressive manner.
