Art Expression Hour
Art Expression Hour was conducted all across DK on January 22, 2020 where every individual was found engrossed in putting their thoughts on paper and giving it life through colours.
Art has great significance in one's life as it improves learning skills. It also
enhances social skills and help students improve self-esteem and creativity. Such activities help students to channelize their energies in a positive direction and is highly therapeutic.
Prep Girls Section gave it a personal touch by dedicating this activity to DK where students art work was based on theme "DK on my Mind". Students and teachers enjoyed the activity to the fullest and some new talents were discovered too.
The Murel Paintings caught attention as its was a joint effort of a group of students and teachers.
We will continue to organise such activities in future too for the benefit of our students.

The 16th International Kangaroo Linguistic Contest has
an international recognition. It brings together the linguistic pedagogical
experience from a number of countries and aims to promote the good
communication culture which is crucial for thriving in today’s world.
The
City School Prep Girls
Section participated in 16th International Kangaroo Linguistic
Contest 2019. 64 students participated wholeheartedly in the competition. We
feel extremely proud to broadcast that Samra
Hanif Mesiya of Class 7 N earned 1st position at Institutional
Level in Grade 7 and received a Bronze Medal. The achievement continues
further where 17 students were titled as 2
Star Performers, 17 of them as One
Star Performers and 24 students were declared as Key to Success Winners.
We congratulate our
students to make us feel proud as well as our English teachers for preparing
students and lifting them higher.
Result has been displayed in the section.
